Private · Clinical · For people in Washington
What this looks like: individual sessions for adults with ADHD, diagnosed or wondering, couples and polycule work (including when ADHD is part of the dynamic), support through uncoupling, family sessions in whatever shape your family is taking, and repair work for friendships that need it. Whatever unit you’re showing up in, you don’t disappear into it. The goal is always for you to stay yourself inside it.
Evaluation and medical support: If you’re wondering whether you have ADHD, or you want to explore medication, I partner with trusted colleagues who provide formal evaluations and medical care, including an ADHD specialist with a doctorate and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I’m glad to help you take that step and coordinate with them, with your consent.
Investment: $195/session, private pay
Insurance: Starting November 1, 2026, I will start taking Premera, BCBS, and LifeWise. I’m in the process of taking Medicaid and Aetna

Room to Breathe: ADHD Home Life Support
A separate service from my therapy practice
Home is where ADHD shows up the most: the mornings, the laundry, the mail, the family calendar. Together we’ll design the home life you actually live, with simple systems that give you more stability and more room to rest, play, and be yourself. Planning sessions by video, with an optional in-home session. This is practical support, not therapy.
ADHD in Schools: For Families and Districts
For families
Kids with ADHD are often asked to thrive in classrooms that weren’t designed with their way of thinking in mind. I partner with you and your child’s school team so your child gets real, meaningful support.
Together we’ll:
Understand how your child’s ADHD shows up, in class and at home
Identify accommodations that fit them specifically, not just the generic list
Prepare for 504 and IEP meetings, and I can sit beside you in them
Gather information on what’s working, what isn’t, and whether the supports in place are making a difference, so decisions are based on evidence, not guesses
Check back and adjust as your child grows
All of this happens with your written consent. I’m a partner at the table, not legal counsel, and the school team makes the final decisions on plans.
Why I know schools from the inside
I’ve worked in schools since 2013, from elementary through high school, as a school counselor, a leader of student support systems, and a district administrator. I’ve counseled students one on one and in small groups. I’ve led 504 implementation, led school crisis response teams, and trained school and district teams. As Director of Whole Child Success in Olympia School District, I overhauled how the district’s student support teams work, so strong everyday support in the classroom comes first, with more targeted help for kids who need it. I also helped lead the implementation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), a way of designing lessons so they work for many kinds of learners from the start. My focus was making sure the ADHD brain is considered in everyday teaching practice, not only in individual plans.
For schools and organizations
I partner with schools, districts, and organizations to look at the environment itself: routines, transitions, instruction, and feedback. Together we identify what to adjust so kids with ADHD can do their best work, and we build those supports into your systems instead of adding them on afterward. I bring experience from both the classroom and district-level systems work.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of counseling do you do?
I'm trained in a range of modalities: Liberation Psychotherapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Restorative Practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Psychodynamic Therapy, and I use them eclectically, meeting you and your unit wherever you actually are, individually and together. Relational? Practical? Concrete? Ready to shift your whole frame? I've got a way in for that.
My work is relational at its core: with a partner, a family, a friendship, a community or system, or the relationship you have with yourself. Individual sessions are one entry point into that work; the focus stays on the relationships and the repair, not symptoms living inside one person. Through a decolonizing, culturally responsive lens, the goal isn't just symptom relief — it's giving you real tools for healing and empowerment, and helping you all build or strengthen the village around you. Sometimes that looks like partnering with other professionals in your life so your healing has support beyond our sessions. You all lead. I'm here to back you up.
Relational repair is also part of why I'm private-pay. Insurance is built around treating a diagnosis in one identified person — it was never built to recognize the relationship itself as what needs care, no matter which therapist you see.
What does "decolonizing therapy" mean?
Decolonizing therapy means questioning who traditional mental health frameworks were built for. Many healing models default to the narratives of specific groups — often White, neurotypical, able-bodied, male, heterosexual, and cisgender people — and treat that as the standard for everyone. Without examining that default, therapy can unintentionally blame you for who you are or how you think, instead of recognizing your reaction as a legitimate response to systems that don't see you, or that harm you in ways our society treats as normal.
In our work together, we can look at how to keep those very real reactions from turning into self-blame or self-criticism. And we can use the agency you do have to shift what's actually within your control, even while the wider systems around you are still catching up to recognizing your story.
Do you take insurance?
Starting November 1, 2026, I will take Premera, LifeWise, Blue Cross Blue Shield. I’m also in the process of getting paneled with Aetna and Medicaid.
Do you offer sliding scale?
I know we can all fall on hard times, and $195 per session can be tough for some people. I do offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots during times of economic hardship. Let's talk about it together and come up with a plan that works.
